Years of History

Upper Arlington Gymnastics has been action since the 70s. The history of Upper Arlington (UA) gymnastics includes winning the school's only state championship in 1995. The team has experienced periods of strong performance, including winning multiple league titles in the mid-2010s and early 2020s. Under new Head Coach, Meredith Piccin and Assistant Coach, Jen Boothby, the goals are once again to return the team to great heights, while offering the athletes a fun and inviting atmosphere.

Program Highlights

1995 State Championship:
Upper Arlington High School won its only state gymnastics championship, with athlete Kelly King leading the team to this historic victory. 

 

League Titles:
In the mid-2010s, the Golden Bears were a dominant force in the OCC-Central Division, winning a third consecutive league championship in 2020.
